Meet Prabin, a civil engineering student at Penn State Harrisburg. He joined 蜜桃传媒app this summer as an estimating intern in our Lancaster office. In addition to being familiarized with various software programs, 鈥淚 have been reaching out to subcontractors about bids, assisting with take-offs, and working with the estimating team on a scope sheet for an upcoming project, all great skills to have moving forward in my career. 鈥� In his free time Prabin likes to write, read, and go for walks in the woods.
Meet Jack, an economics student at West Chester University. He joined 蜜桃传媒app this summer as an estimating intern. 鈥淚 have been introduced to the many preconstruction tools and strategies that 蜜桃传媒app utilizes. I鈥檝e been assisting the team in preparing estimates, creating RFI鈥檚, and doing quantity takeoffs. If I can take away one thing from this internship, I hope to gain a good understanding of how to develop accurate and competitive bids.鈥� Jack鈥檚 hobbies include anything outside. He enjoys finishing, hiking, fitness, golfing, and surfing.
Meet Tiffany, a civil engineering student at McGill University. She joined 蜜桃传媒app this summer as a project engineer intern on our Willard DiLoreto Parking Garage Project in New Britain, Connecticut. 鈥淭his internship has been a perfect mixture of office work, being out in the field, and lots of learning, while also still exercising some of my civil engineering education. It is very rewarding to see some of the same concepts that I鈥檝e learned in school applied to the real world and seen in live action.鈥�
Meet Madeline Crammer, an architectural engineering student at Penn State. She joined 蜜桃传媒app this summer as a project engineer intern on our Envigo renovation project. 鈥淎ll my experience has been design work, mostly inside of an office, so I am looking forward to gaining experience in the field this summer.鈥� When not studying, Madeline enjoys running, lifting, and training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as well as all things creative whether it be playing the ukulele, drawing, and painting, or baking.
Meet Kenny, a construction engineering major at the University of Utah. He joined 蜜桃传媒app this summer as a project engineer intern at 901 Market Street, a 14-story renovation project in downtown Wilmington, DE. 鈥淩ight from the beginning, the team has been welcoming and has involved me in everything going on in the project. I have been organizing information and taking measurements to ensure that the large window order for this building will be correct. I have learned that there are so many moving parts to a huge project like this, and it is important that nothing is overlooked.鈥� In his free time, Kenny likes to snowboard, play sports with friends, and go to the beach.
Meet Brianna, a civil engineer student at Morgan State University. She joined 蜜桃传媒app this summer as a project engineer intern in our Maryland region. 鈥淚 have been able to visit and learn about various projects in the area such as Broadmead Senior Living, The Study at Johns Hopkins, and Penn Station in Baltimore. Being able to diversify my internship experience, I have learned a lot about project management and how ongoing projects are handled, as well as the pre-construction process. I am looking forward to continuously expanding my knowledge and seeing where I want to go with my future.鈥�
Meet Sean a construction engineering and management major at University of Delaware. He joined 蜜桃传媒app this summer as a project engineer intern at New Castle County Appoquinimink Library. 鈥淢y mentors and other 蜜桃传媒app personnel have been constantly challenging me and guiding me through the complicated construction industry and I couldn鈥檛 ask for a better team to be a part of.鈥� Sean is very involved in extracurricular activities on campus. He is the company outreach chair for the Professional Construction Society (Construction Engineers of America), president of Golden Blues A Capella, treasurer for DELAC, and an active member of the Blue Hen Leadership Program.
Meet Rudy, a construction management major at Pennsylvania College of Technology. He returned to 蜜桃传媒app this summer for his second internship as a project engineer. 鈥淚 have been working at MI Windows and Doors in Gratz, PA which is an addition to an existing warehouse as well as new parking lots and sitework. I am responsible for safety, coordinating with subcontractors on site, and other various tasks. This internship has helped to make my career choice upon graduation next spring鈥�.
Meet John, a mechanical engineering student at the University of Notre Dame. John joined 蜜桃传媒app as a project engineer this summer and gets to work on the completion of our Sunrise Franklin Lakes project as well as the beginning stages of Sunrise of Livingston in New Jersey. 鈥淚 am grateful for the chance to see projects at both the beginning and end of the construction process. I am looking forward to further familiarizing myself with the construction industry as I learn about all that goes into these large projects and how I can contribute as an effective field engineer.鈥� John enjoys sports, music, and being outdoors.
Meet Sam, a structural design and construction engineering technology student at Penn State Harrisburg. She joined 蜜桃传媒app this summer as a project engineer intern on The Forum restoration project in Harrisburg, PA. 鈥淚 am learning so much every day and I am starting to feel confident in my choice of major and future career. I have enjoyed working on such a unique and challenging project.鈥� In addition to being a volleyball coach, Sam enjoys kayaking and spending time with her two dogs.
